Polaroid Emulsion Lift and Watergram Hybrids

These delicate works were made for the Dorset Visual Arts ‘Droves & Downs’ bursary project. Watergrams were made in the rare chalk streams of the Cranborne Chase, specifically the River Ebble and the River Allen. Particularly interesting sections of the watergram works were then captured with Polaroid film, and Polaroid emulsion lifts were made of the resulting images, combining my alternative processes to uniquely showcase the poetic wonder of these ecologically significant waterways.
