Spring Acrobat Art Card

I couldn’t believe my luck when I sat down in the grass and discovered this bee voraciously drinking nectar from the nearby bluebells. It posed perfectly for me for almost half an hour, oblivious to my presence and focused solely on its acrobatics with the spring flowers! I was able to take several close-up Polaroid photographs, and was delighted with this particular emulsion lift that I subsequently created, as the hazy colours of the background botanicals give the impression of a watercolour painting.

From my original artwork: Colour i-type film, Polaroid emulsion lift on St Cuthbert’s Mill ‘Millford’ 300g/m2 paper.
Printed on textured matt paper and left blank inside for your own message. Comes with Eco Kraft Brown 100% recycled envelope.
